Being involved in the wedding industry, I always get involved in friends weddings beyond the title of bridesmaid. Back in 2016, my friend Sarah asked me to be her Maid of Honor and her hair/makeup team for her big day and I graciously accepted. I've been close with Sarah since we met in 6th grade. Our friendship is at this date over 15 years old! I'll be the first to admit, it's hard being both roles. But in hindsight, all the work I put in for her big day was completely worth it to see her so happy with her new husband. It's hard to believe this weekend they will celebrate TWO years already. (She and I got married roughly 5 months apart, so that means I'll be coming up on two years shortly and I just can't wrap my mind around it.) So today I wanted to share with you some photos from her wedding! Her hair and makeup are both done by me. (Yes I did makeup! I don't do it often, but when you best friend from growing up asks and you've used her for practice all these years, how can you say no?!) Naturally my hair and makeup also are done by me and some how I managed to get both of us done in time all while having a bridal luncheon that day. It was well worth it though, the spark in her eye made it so! Red lips and a little winged eyeliner are classic Sarah. She exudes an elegance that has a 1950's vintage flair. You'll see in the full body photos she chose a tea length dress as apposed to floor length and it fit her perfectly! So retro and so her! So happy anniversary to these two cuties!
